Casio Digicam Shoots 1000 Frames Per Second

At CES this year, Casio showed off one of its latest digital cameras, the Exilim EX-F100. This compact camera features a 30-shot burst mode and is capable of shooting video at 1000 frames per second.

DCRP Review: Nikon Coolpix P6000

The Coolpix P6000 ($499) is the flagship camera in Nikon's compact digital camera lineup. It features a 13.5 Megapixel CCD, a 4X wide-angle zoom lens, image stabilization, 2.7" LCD display, full manual controls, a hot shoe, and RAW format support. In addition to all that, the P6000 also has two very unique features: a built-in GPS receiver and an Ethernet port. Yes, you read that right, an Ethernet port, which is used to transfer photos to Nikon's My Picturetown service. Don't worry, the P6000 has a USB port, too!

Panasonic updates firmware for DMC-LX3

Panasonic has released a firmware update for the Lumix DMC-LX3 digital compact camera. With version 1.2, the EXIF data is correctly displayed on all JPEG files. It also improves the white balance in flash mode when connected to the DMW-FL220 flash unit
